I believe paid surveys are a scam. These sites offer to give you the world, and then when you start getting close to a payout they tear it all out from under you. I highly doubt anyone has seriously gotten paid from paid surveys. The only people that would probably vouch for these sites, are affiliates being paid to do so. Paid surveys are designed to make you feel all warm and cozy at first. They tell you that you will receive surveys for up to a certain amount. $20 always seems to be a common number. They tell you that they will e mail you when you can fill out a survey, that they are extremely easy, and that you will get credit for it once you are done. The fact is that yes they will send you surveys, but they have little tricks that they use. The first thing is they will actually send a survey, but it will be for points. Which basically means nothing. Some sites points are entries into contests that never happen. These are one of their tactics to make you feel cozy. The second tactic, is that when you do actually receive a survey worth some money you usually don't qualify for it. They make the stipulations for qualification into a survey so strict that most people won't qualify. Not only do they draw you in with their promising lies, but they also give you a nice little sign up bonus. Many of the sites will give you a quality amount of money, usually somewhere between $5 and $15. The reason they do this, is because they design their site so that the minimum payout is a lot higher than you will get to. With the next to impossible surveys, and a usually unreachable payout, paid surveys simply equal a scam. I can personally say that I was scammed. I payed $40 for a site that promised to give me only the best survey sites out there. They made it sound so good, like I was going to make my $40 back in a day. The fact was once they got their $40 they could reviel to me that their site was nothing more then what I could find on google. I will have their site under scams but I feel that it is also necessary to have it here. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS SITE, IT IS A SCAM http://www.surveyspaid.com/index.php.
